Add a Commenti loved this book, i read it 2 years ago. If you like it then i would recommend "The Breadwinner" , another great book by deborah ellis
Strength, courage, and perserverence .These three things are what push Parvana to finding her family. This book is well written and quickly consumes the reader.
In the end i had so many different feelings. I felt so sad for her sister.
I think this was an amazing book filled with action from beggining to end. It teaches you of a childs life without a mother or father, ACTING like a mother and father.
I loved this series. It was very grim in parts but also very eye opening to the world we live in.
