"I hope you're well?" said Percy pompously, shaking hands. It was rather like being introduced to the mayor. " very well thanks-" "Harry!" said Fred, elbowing Percy out of the way and bowing deeply. "Simply splendid to see you, old boy-" "Marvellous," said George, pushing Fred aside and seizing Harry's hand in turn. "Absolutely spiffing." Percy scowled. "That's enough, now," said Mrs. Weasley. "Mum!" said Fred, as though he'd only just spotted her, and seized her hand, too. "How really corking to see you."
The Dark Lord lies alone and friendless, abandoned by his followers. His servant has been chained these twelve years. Tonight, before midnight, the servant will be=reak free and set out to join his master. The Dark Lord will rise again with his servant’s aid, greater and more terrible than ever before. Tonight… before midnight… the servant… will set out… to rejoin… his master…
‘When the Boggart bursts out of this wardrobe Neville, and sees, you, it will assume the form of Professor Snape,’ said Lupin. ‘And you will raise our wand – thus – and cry ‘Riddikulus’ – and concentrate hard on your grandmother’s clothes. If all goes well, Professor Boggart Snape will be forced into that vulture-topped hat, that green dress, that big red handbag.’ There was a great shout of laughter. The wardrobe wobbled more violently.
Non-magic people (more commonly known as Muggles) were particularly afraid of magic in Medieval times, but were not very good at recognizing it. On the rare occasion that they did catch a real witch or wizard, burning had no effect whatsoever. The witch or wizard would perform a basic Flame Freezing Charm and then pretend to shriek with pain while enjoying a gentle tickling sensation. Indeed, Wendelin the weird enjoyed being burnt so much that she allowed herself to be caught no fewer than forty seven times in various disguises.

The third & a very exciting book in the Harry Potter Series.
I read this when I was six still heart it
My personal favourite of the series, for the story, theme, amazing characters, and (I'll admit it) pure nostalgia. It is, in my opinion, the last in the series that is truly a "children's" book (with GoF being the sort of in-between turning point), yet I wouldn't let that get in the way for older readers! It's dark in all the right ways, something J.K. Rowling is excellent at achieving, with the perfect doses of mystery, suspense, and, of course, magic. The introduction of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black is a major 1up for me, and the set-up for events to come in future books is excellently done. This book (well, who are we kidding, the entire series) is a must-read!
One of my favourite's in the HP series. You get to know more about Harry, I find.
a little boring *yawn* ZZZZZzzzzzz
Its definitely a quick read and took me a few days to listen to the audio as I read along with my copy of the book and I realize that it took me a number of months to get through this book last year, but when reading it with the audio, I was able to get it done in about 3 days (probably I could read it within a day, but honestly, it would have been a little much). What I love about the book is that the book still has the innocence of the first two books, but has the element of darkness throughout the book and quite honestly, this is my favourite book of the series for the simple fact that most of the story is included in the movie of the same title, even though there are some slight differences between the book and the movie and when you compare it to the next three book/movies, there wasn't a lot that was omitted in the movie. True there was things that were switched up in the movie, but the essential story and the various subplots that take place in the book are included in the movie as well (okay, the thing with the Firebolt being stripped down in the book isn't included in the movie, but its so minor that I think most fans will overlook it).
This was my favourite book of the whole Harry Potter series! It had so much action in it I couldn't stop reading! I think this is the best book in the series. The end of this book though is a bit better than the beginning. My favourite part was when Hermione and Harry went back in time! This book I think was very interesting and so was this series!
harry potter is the best. i love love love love it. my most favorite spell is fidelius: allows a secret to be hidden within the secret keepers soul ;very powerful spell BEAU1234 xx
I can't express my love for the Harry Potter series enough. But when I first started reading this book, I rated it my least favourite of the series! However, reading it again, I gave it a higher rating. Might take some getting used to, but all in all SUPER CALIFRAGILISTIC EXPIALIDOCIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
