I love animals so I read this book. It's amazing. I knew Cassiel wasn't dead! I knew it!! Go Shade, the brave runt! Goth, at first I thought you were interesting, but you are evil. you should have died with Throbb!!

I read this book in seventh grade and completely adored it. It was interesting and well-writted and paced. I recommend it to young teens or preteens.

The main character(s) are: Shade and Marina. They are two bats who both got seperated from their colonies, one way or another, and must get back to them. Along the way, they learn more about humans, other species of bats, and the mystery behind the silver bracelets, given to bats captured by humans. Will Shade be able to figure out how the Humans will help the bats fulfill the Promise? Read the book, and you'll find out!:)
