Comment
Add a CommentAlthough this is not exactly a continuation of the first book, the second book ink exchange was equally enthralling. I love the fact that they use tatoos and the importance of understanding what the meaning behind them are. This book has some serious adult type situations I wouldn't want some kids exposed to, but these things do happen and if they did happen to you I think this book would help you know you are not alone.
This was my favorite book in the whole series. I thought it ran along very deep lines as the main character's life was really sad. Her struggles only add to her character, and she seemed like a real heroine to me for all she had to put up with. Great read. This book is the only one in the series that I remember the best after reading the books a while ago... etc. It definately stood out and I really recommend this book and series as a whole.
I read this series awhile ago and liked them, but they were kind of confusing and pretty fast-paced.
This book wasn't too bad, a bit all over the place though which made it hard to follow at times. Wicked Lovely is a much better book in comparison. The ending wasn't what I expected but was still good. Worth Reading if you liked Wicked Lovely.
Agh! Can you please throw us a joke? A pun? Something to make us crack the tiniest of smiles? Melissa Marr needs to look up the meaning of comedy relief. This is by far the darkest book I've read. Does everything need to be so constantly serious?
I accidentally read this one first but it was still great!!!!
A good read, though I didn't enjoy it as much as Wicked Lovely. The tattoo design was gorgeous, though, I must say. The ending was refreshing, a bit uncommon. (Can't say any more on that or it will give away the ending.)
The first time I saw this book I was in Newfoundland and was in need of something to read. I had two choices another fairy book or this one with the eye popping cover. I showed my mom of all people and she told me to buy Ink Exchange. It was read in two days though I would have read it in one day if my parents hadn't told me that the next time I would be in Chapters it would be in Ottawa. So there you have it I LOVE THIS BOOK AND WILL FOREVER!
Good book. However to those who compare this to the Twilight series, they are not. Twilight is an amazing saga itself. However this series is amazing in itself. The books have twists and turns that keep your attention.
I really did not like this book it keeps going back and forth and its hard to keep who's who right. it was confusing and hard to really get into.
