Add a CommentI was hoping for more travel-related stories and tips, but this was really a photo book in connection with the No Reservations series. If you're an avid fan of the show then this book might be interesting for you, however I have not seen enough episodes to really get all of the inside commentary and jokes and the backstories were not explained in enough detail to be useful. Some good travel tips at the back of the book though!
I liked and like the show, so this was of interest. Just not of that much interest. Incremental additions to my thinking. More to be glanced through than read? Pretty much.
I love Bourdain's jaded look on life; I'm afraid I've got like that a bit as well as I've grown older. The man amuses me and I enjoy his insights on other cultures.
