Add a CommentI was pertrified of M. Manson, his style and his music, sooo scared. But once i read his book, all has changed. He is a very funny guy. I found him to be very Smart, Bright, Erudite, and very committed and passionate Artist to his music and his world. I respect him for his self expression and i, actually, like him now. As i was confused of his sexuality before (gay or bi), he is actually very heterosexual man confidently exuding masculinity. A great read!
not for young readers
If you're looking for sleaze, you will find it by the bucketful -- enough sex, drugs, S&M, and psychodrama to sate all but the most deranged appetite. What is surprising is that the author also displays insight, a sense of humour, and moral values. Worth reading even if you don't listen to his music.
Perverse, weird and disturbing. Manson's messed up life shaped him into what he has become and although this book contained some really over the top messed up shit, I was still intrigued enough to look past it and read on to the phenomenal conclusion. Too bad he's all washed up now...
