Add a CommentExcellent BBC drama mini series (6 episodes).
The good old days ot investigative reporting. Lots of great twists & turns. Convinced me to care about the characters - even that I would love to have been part of a story like this!
Wow - I love those Brits! 6 hour miniseries beats the Hollywood movie hands down. Great story - great acting!
Great series ... liked it more than the movie.
Amazing miniseries! The actors were perfect in their roles. It was a treat to see John Simm and Philip Glennister together again after having watched 'Life on Mars'. The series is basically a 'who's who' of British television and I enoyed every minute.
Truly suspenseful. Strong female character in Della - she was great. Interesting ending - not the predictable stuff or special effects (lazy person's drama). Very relevant given our current international nuclear dilemma. Loved it!
Excellent political thriller set in England. Bill Nighy is superb as the Editor of the Herald Newspaper covering a story with links to the political bigwigs in Whitehall. Gripping!
This is a 6 episode series produced by the BBC in 2003. Excellent production of a political thriller. I enjoyed this BBC version much better than the US movie of the same name (Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck) made in 2009. Bill Nighy is his wonderful quirky self.
Great British series with fantastic characters including a very fresh faced James MacEvoy and the always wonderful Bill Nighy. There is a US movie remake with Russell Crowe that I am told is crap - will have to check it out for myself though
I've got only two first series!!!!... Is there more? How to get them?
