Add a CommentOne of the best books I have ever read. Not one of the greatest but still it had a great plot, awesome characters and a really cool setting. I also loved the flashbacks Zara had about her father. It made me cry a bit but it was really a great book.
This plot moved too fast, and just didnt draw me in.
Terrible plot. And terrible characters, well, except for Betty. Oh god! Why did I pick this book in the first place?
This is one of the best books I’ve read: it's smart, it pulls you in, and the main character has a really unique perspective, and the other characters are interesting. Out of all of the books that I've read in the fantasy category, Zara is really the only main character that hasn't annoyed me at all. Good read.
I really liked the main character's unique voice. The plot moves quickly. The characters are good. The heroine isn't a totally helpless, hapless, simpering idiot who needs rescuing, as so many of the heroines in other paranormal romances (with the very notable exception of Vampire Academy and its awesome heroine). Some aspects of the plot are a bit familiar, but all paranormal teen stuff has some overlap. But there are unique aspects of this mythology.
i wasnt really attached to any of the characters and i found the book moved too fast. Zara moves to a new town and just starts to believe in pixies. the author tried to cover up the fact she moved too fast a few times and i found it confusing. its deffinitly not in my top ten favourite books but i didnt hate it.
It's certainly different. The characters were a bit over the top sometimes. It was amusing though.
not bad, but not great. I can defiantly say im official scared of Pixies now though :P
This book is a good read for tweens and teens. Loved it! Second book drags on awhile but Need is truly AWESOME!!! Great for people who like books with vampires, werewolves and faeries. Has a good balance of genres. Really enjoyed reading it!
this series is ridiculously unoriginal. The editing was horrible, the plot was scattered, and i couldn't help laughing outright. I couldn't believe this was a real book. What a complete rip-off of stephen king and stephenie meyer...
