Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut and maybe finding true love; Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth; Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonder if he's growing too 'soft' handing with his pals; and Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some very close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna, run amuck, and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.

Good - Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) 94 min. John Leguizamo’s Sid is one of the funniest characters ever. The comedic timing, the art and storyline in this film are wonderful. In this 3rd instalment, Sid adopts three Tyrannosaurus Rex’s until momma comes to claim her kids. Meanwhile, Ellie and Manny are expecting a baby mammoth and Diego, the sabre tooth tiger, is experiencing the effects of old age. New to the fold is Simon Pegg’s Buck, a one-eyed weasel. The film is lots of fun with the better dialogue between Manny and Sid.
