A buddy comedy with observations of our world, instead of observations from 150 other buddy comedies. It's about a man who relates best to women, but the females are kept in the background, with few funny lines. Wait till you see the hi-larious scene about why you shouldn't play sports with women. What, no women drivers? The charm of Rudd, Segal, and the supporting actors pulls this film over the rough spots.

Jason Segel and Paul Rudd have great friendship chemistry. Funny movie, though a little crude at times :)

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are funny in this movie, but for some reason it does not click with me as it does with countless others. The cast is very well assembled: Jon Favreau is hilarious, Jaime Pressly is comical, Rashida Jones is delightful, and Lou Ferrigno is Lou Ferrigno. Despite the wonderful cast, the movie itself is merely mediocre. However, I'm sure that it's just me because I can definitely see why many people adore I Love You, Man.

For the first half or so, I chuckled or laughed every 10-20 seconds. It was inspired. Then, in the second half, they resorted to the same formula I've seen about 10K times before. The formula: Conflict. Make up. All better. Happy ending.

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are great in this movie. The plot line is a bit predictable, but this movie is also smart and funny. And that's what comedy movies are all about. More than just attracting a few laughs, this film makes us think that even though it may seem hard to make new friends after we're grown ups, there is no secret recipe to do it, but a cliché: "just be yourself". I would highly recommend this movie, especially to people that love raunchy humor.

Hilarious film. Paul Rudd is a comedic genius and this is one of many movies that proves that point. Fun, lighthearted look on "bromances" that will have even the women laughing so hard they might pee. Neat performace from Rush too.

Finally a bromance film that steps outside of the romance film genre with a unique and refreshing look at male relationships and bonding. Thank you, thank you.

I thought this would be a lot better than it was.

Funny and entertaining. No masterpiece, but it makes for a good date movie.

Sydney Fife: Wait, you jerked off to a picture of your own girl friend? You - that - wow, that is sick! Oh my God, what is *wrong* with you? Peter Klaven: What's wrong with that? Sydney Fife: Pedro, there is so much wrong - I don't even know where to begin... That is sick, man!
