Add a CommentIf you loved Percy Jackson or the Kane Chronicles, you have to give Jake Ransom a try! James Rollins is a popular adult author who has brought his talent to the junior fiction, but lost none of the action or adventure along the way. Part mystery, part adventure and loaded with history and some fantasy, it's a non-stop thrill ride. Think kid Indiana Jones meets Percy Jackson. Look out for the rest of the series as well, and grown-ups - it's ok if you want to read them too!
this book is fab! peaple should read it if they like the lightning theif seris! :) totally fab! Really exiting. is a mix of mystery and adventure! Gets you really sitting on the edge! the next book is jake ransomm and the howling sphinx. recomended for all ages, young, old and middle! thanks for taking your time and reading my comment!
This book is exceptional.
This is really an excellent story, regardless of the age of the reader. James Rollins has always been a great author, but he obviously enjoyed writing this a great deal and he really pulled out all the stops. Time travel, head-hunters, Romans in dinosaur-drawn chariots, hidden temples: this one has it all. If Encyclopedia Brown turned out to be the love child of Indiana Jones, he would have been Jake Ransom.
