Add a SummaryIn this installment, Rose is more determined than ever and will use extremely illegal ways to reach her objectives. Desperation to save Dimitri, while she still can, drives her actions and consequences won't be light. She is not risking only her future and her life but also the ones of people she loves. When we love a book, we all say "I couldn't put it down", well in this case, I loved the book so much I HAD to put it down and take deep breaths because it was just too much. Love, Passion, Treason, Fear, Sadness, Grief, all these emotions laid on paper in a so intense way it almost became unbearable. At times I couldn't believe my own eyes, events happening in that book triggered reactions in me that are beyond words! I really love both Rose and Lissa for their very distinct qualities, and even though they are very different, they have one thing in common: they would do anything for each other. Lissa is starting to think of Rose more and her feelings, though I didn't find her to be very understandable when it came to Dimitri. Adrian is as snarky as ever but we get to discover a new side to him. I really like the guy and it's clear he cares about Rose and I loved to watch them together. Dimitri, oh Dimitri! He broke my heart in Blood Promise and Spirit Bound wasn't any easier. At times I really felt like hitting him in the head to knock some sense into him and even though I would have a lot to say, I won't spill the beans and ruin surprises. I will mention though that chapters 20 and 24 nearly killed me. I was glad that Abe was in SB, he didn't play a major role but it was nice to have him around and I think he will have a bigger role in The Last Sacrifice. The end is as usual a cliff hanger, if suspense could kill Richelle Mead would be in danger of trial for massive murder, because I really don't know how I will be able to wait until December to know how this epic story ends. Vampire Academy is my favorite series and Richelle delivered. Spirit Bound was action-packed, full of surprises, emotions and magic. I was in awe so many times during this book, it really was fabulous. I think Shadow Kiss is still my favorite of the series because I'm such a romantic but Spirit Bound is very close second. I really hope Rose will have her happy ending in The Last Sacrifice (even though the title doesn't point that way), she's been through so much, she really deserves her happily ever after.

I love this series- story lines r great- characters r great- really connected with the characters and the emotions surrounding them throughout the series - definitely worth reading! One of my favorites!
I am currently reading this novel. Great read, I was almost late for work today because I didn't want to put it down!
wow again richelle is the best when it comes to giving shock after shock among the characters.the first being Dimitri coming back so soon through Lissa with the help of Christian. i thought they could not turn Dimitri without Rose's help. Rose and Adrian have a good chemistry and Rose loves him but then what does she feel for Dimitri? How can she love 2 people???? just like the way Bella loved Edward and Jacob?? i wonder who killed Tatiana!! ofcourse to frame Rose. that was a totally different shock...leaves me waiting each day to get my hands on the last book of the series.
Mead's characters have depth and life, her plot is complicated and engrossing and the world she has created is believably real. Shades of grey cover every aspect of this series and, for me, constitute its greatest strength. There are no flat characters here, no simple solutions or easy outs. Life can be hard in these pages, decisions heart-wrenching. But I pray for that happy ending as that is why I read books, I have enough reality and mistakes coming to bite me in the ass. books are my escape and I need/want Rose and Dimitri to have that happy ending. Please Rachelle Mead give us Rose and Dimitri together again and Rose as Lissa's guardian.
Definitely leaves you wanting more! Can't wait to see what happens next, total cliffhanger of an ending. Can't decide who I'm rooting for. I love Rose and Dimitri, but I have a HUGE soft spot for Adrian! Plus, description wise, he's more my type. I'm not so much for long hair and leather dusters;) LOL

Amazing book! A must-read for anyone who likes romantic books or vampire/supernatural books! It's even better than Twilight! The story pulls you in further and further with each book!
i instantly fell in love with this book from the first few pages and couldnt not stop reading it until it was the early hours of the morning. this series just gets better and better what i loved about the book was that there was always something going on which i love in books and the end leaves you wanting to read the next book Last Sacrifice straight away <3 Roza and Dimka
This Book Was Very Interesting. One Of My Favorite Things About This Story Is The Interesting Connection Rose And Dimitri Have. I Dont Wanna Mention Too Much Because If You Havent Read It I Do Not Wanna Give Anything Away. The Fact That The End Of The book Was Rally Suspensful I Love Th Last Line. "They Execute Traitors" . Like It Left Me Wanting The Next Book In The Series Right Now!
