Add a SummaryLast sacrifice you just want to keep on reading nonstop as the story develops with many twists and turns, some were expected, some were not, some I felt were a little too far fetched and could do without, but still I would not stop reading, I was very glad to see Dimitri finally snap out of it, (about time!) Lissa is someone who I am always a little mystified about, sometimes I love her character and sometimes I down right despise her,(especially when she didn’t even realize until much later of Rose's love for Dimitri, how self absorbed with christian and blind can you be?) I know she has to deal with a lot, spirit, her royal title, her parent's death, etc but I don't think she realizes sometimes how much Rose has given up. Never the less it was nice to finally see Lissa trying to help Rose. Adrian, oh how I fell in love with his character, he started off as a bit of a joke but ended up being such a great friend to all of them! I felt robbed of a good final conversation between him and Rose! He deserved a much better explanation, more respect and a better end than what he got in this book! As for Rose, I am glad she got her happy ending I wish there had a bit more of them relaxed together and a scene of them at court acting as reall Guardians, I was sad to see this series end.

Add a CommentI found that even though the series was still wonderful, the books started lacking in quality after #5. Still worth the time though.
I am totally in LOVE in Dimitri right now!!. My favourite guy character! Have to re-read the entire series now that I know how it ends!!

I loved it SO much! SPOILER! I loved at the end Rose and dimitri were like Rose; what have we gotten our selfs in to?" Dimitry; what would that be?" Rose; "I don't know, but I think it's something good" AAAAH! I wish it wasn't over!
I loved the ending to this series!!! It was super amazing and has a whole lot of content that just pulls you right in. SPOILER!!!! I loved how Dimitri came back from Russia and then Rose and him were able to live the life they want :) And the twisting end when Rose got shot...perfect.
This book had an amazing twist at the end but it was sad to see the series end :'( but can't wait to read bloodlines

amazing .. one of the most perfect endings to a series I have ever read. everything was perfectly well thought out, and nothing was too predictable. i love that this book had so many surprises and that it could make me seriously laugh aloud. so sad that its finished, but I'm glad that I have Bloodlines to look forward to....anything to return to VA :)
