Comment
Add a CommentOutstanding, timeless film. Gritty, sweaty, 'pull-no-punches' realism. Excellent cast. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Magnificent. FIVE STARS.
This movie is a must-see for anyone who is or will be called up for jury duty. It's a fascinating study of human reasoning and interaction. At the beginning of the credits when the jury first enters the jury room, take note of the 6 min.+ scene without a camera break. You never see scenes that long anymore. The acting is realistic and seamless and the cast is a who's who in acting. I've probably seen this version a dozen times now...and STILL enjoy watching it. The '97 remake of 12 Angry Men doesn't hold a candle to the original.
This DVD is scratched.
