Sarah's YA Recommendations

Annotation:This book is a heartbreaking look at what can lead a teenager to commit suicide. Well written but a bit of a harrowing read.

Annotation:Sarah Dessen is perfect summer reading, and this is a particularly great one for that.

Annotation:Melina Marchetta's books are really great - we don't have "Looking for Alibrandi" by her at EPL, but it's a great one as well.

Annotation:This might be my favourite of all of Sarah Dessen's books!

Annotation:John Green's books are all great, but this one might be the weepiest.

Annotation:Another of the wonderful Sarah Dessen's books.

Annotation:This is such an unusual book, and such a great one! Told from the perspective of death.

Annotation:When I started my quest to read as many books from the Persnickety Snark list as I could, I'd never read anything by Sarah Dessen. Almost all of her books were on the list, so I started reading them. I read everything she'd written in two weeks flat and now she is one of my all-time favourites. Thanks, Persnickety Snark!

Annotation:This is a controversial series, but one that is well worth reading. The first one is an incredibly compelling read!

Annotation:The one that started it all.

Annotation:The odd-numbered Harry Potter books are my favourites, and this one is no exception!

Annotation:My favourite of the entire series. Another one you should read before the last movie comes out in July!

Annotation:Everyone's talking about it, but for good reason. One of the most compelling books I've read in many years. Read it before the movie comes out!
