These authors create worlds recongizable as our own, but where otherworldly creatures, both beautiful and horrific live along side us. They could be hidden in a tree, sleeping in an alley, tearing by on that wicked Harley, or even invisible. They are, however, worlds worth exploring. This is not an exhaustive list, just some titles I consider high points in the genre.
