Join our Book Clubs of EPL where we will be talking about Moccasin Square Gardens by Richard Van Camp.
Moccasin Square Gardens is a collection of short stories that move across multiple storytelling genres - humour, slice-of-life, noir, science fiction. All are used to great effect to capture the everyday of the Tłı̨chǫ Dene culture and the small towns in Denendeh.
Richard Van Camp, a member of the Dogrib (Tłı̨chǫ) Nation from Fort Smith, is an author and storyteller who now calls Edmonton home. He has authored 24 books, which have included novels, children's literature, baby books and graphic novels. Moccasin Square Gardens is his fifth short story collection.
