Head down to Edmonton's, Snow Valley Ski Club to take in FREE concert with music and poetry. Listen to artists from EPL's Capital City Records and Capital City Press as they share their work at the bottom of the ski hill in the beautiful Rainbow Valley.

On Aug 9, we will host musician Dylan Ella and poets Hannah Brown and Ann Sutherland from our Capital City Press Anthology.

Dylan Ella:

Dylan Ella is a singer-songwriter from Edmonton. The talented 19-year-old is no newcomer to the stage. Whether performing at local festivals and pubs, or opening up for touring artists including Danny Michel, Daniel Romano and Mo Kenney, Dylan’s soulful lyrics, mesmerizing vocals and charismatic stage presence have captivated audiences of all ages.

Hannah Brown:

Hannah Brown is a writer and BSc General alumnus. As a Gemini with bipolar disorder, she explores a multitude of topics and perspectives in her writing. Her creativity is boundless and she has combined such unlikely subjects as smut and science, apocalypse and friendly aliens, and humour with sexual anatomy.

Ann Sutherland:

Ann Sutherland is an Edmonton writer. She has written for Edify magazine and the Edmonton Journal. Her short stories and creative non-fiction have been published in various anthologies. Her flash fiction and poetry has been found on coffee sleeves, beer cans, city buses and short story dispensers.

Event is free and there is food and drink for sale on-site.
