The Health Arts Society of Alberta presents a Library Lunchtime Concert with the Obsessions Quartet. Each piece on the program is deeply centered in a sense of place. The Quartet will be performing Sulkhan Tsintsadze’s delightful Miniatures for string quartet, which were inspired by traditional Georgian folk tunes and instruments, Northern Sunrise by Mari Alice Conrad and Towards Clarity by Geoff Li, both of which were written right here in Edmonton, as well some of their favourite Tangos by the Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla.
