All Day

This class enables customers to book Prusa i3 MK3S and MK3S+ 3D printers at the Stanley A. Milner Library's Makerspace. Once you've completed this online class, you will complete your certification with staff during your first 3D printer booking at the Makerspace.

  • This version of our 3D Printing 101 class is on demand and can be completed at any time during the month.
  • Participants will receive a Microsoft Forms link containing the class content (video lessons and a quiz) one day before the class starts in a reminder email. Please register with an email address so you can receive the link.
  • Please have your EPL library card ready when you start the class. Library cards are free for Edmonton residents, learn more and sign up here:

In this class EPL will cover:

  • Basic 3D printing concepts, materials, and equipment terminology.
  • Safe use of a 3D printer, guidelines for use at EPL, and material fees.
