Irene Barnes (owner of Rena's Creative Haven) is a wellness artist, community educator, and registered social worker with a passion for healing through creativity and selfcare. As the founder of Rena’s Creative Haven, she creates safe, vibrant spaces where children and families can explore self-expression, build confidence, and experience emotional wellness — all through the power of art.

With a professional background in social work and child development, Irene blends therapeutic principles with playful, step-by-step painting sessions that support social-emotional growth and joyful connection. Her Paint Party Playtime workshops are more than just art classes — they’re creative experiences designed to nurture imagination, promote mindfulness, and bring a little more light into young lives, one brushstroke at a time.
