Mosaic of Being: Art, Nature and Cultural Connection

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Stanley A. Milner (Downtown)

Description

Join EPL’s Featured Artist Leila Zolfalipour for Mosaic of Being, an engaging artist talk and hands-on workshop exploring connections between culture, identity, and the natural world. Participants will have the opportunity to see Leila’s original paintings and sculptures up close, including works from her recent series generously supported by the Edmonton Arts Council (EAC).

Leila will begin with an artist talk about her creative journey and how her Iranian heritage and Canadian environment merge in her art. Following the talk, participants will be guided through a short, hands-on creative exercise inspired by her process, blending memory, nature, and personal expression through drawing and mixed media.

This workshop is open to adults and older teens of all artistic backgrounds and experience levels. All materials will be provided.
