Join the Kitchen for our First level in a 5-part "Kitchen Basics" Series.

Learn to chop and dice like a pro! Learn essential knife safety and handling skills while building a chopped salad and a vinaigrette to go.

Level 1 covers Knife Skills. In this lesson, you will learn basic chopping and dicing techniques with the opportunity to practice your skills while making a chopped salad and a simple vinaigrette with fresh herbs.

You will receive a small mason jar to take your dressing home, and a bench press. You'll find out why the bench press is a great tool to have while cooking!

*In order to attend Level 2-5 to begin later this year, you will have to complete Level 1.

NOTE:

  • To reduce waste, please bring a carryout container.
  • Doors to the Kitchen will close 10 minutes after the indicated start time.
  • Class size is limited to 12 participants.
  • Each person attending requires their own ticket.
