“Wapikwaniy//Flower” is an artistic exploration into the social, emotional, and spiritual worldviews of Indigenous women, as guided through cultural knowledge and practices, fine-craft instruction and shared conversation.

Join Indigenous artists Sharon Rose Kootenay and Penelope Moon-Walker for an introductory series of contemporary and traditional Metis-Cree floral beadwork and accessories!

Fringed Tobacco Bag (Intermediate Beadwork – Group 1)

This workshop will be taught over three classes:

  • Tues. Mar. 24 (5:00 - 6:00 pm)
  • Wed. Mar. 25 (5:00 - 6:00 pm)
  • Fri. Mar. 27 (5:00 - 6:00 pm)

Participants must attend ALL THREE classes.


To participate in this class participants must:

  • Be 18+
  • Have completed the introductory classes and met the instructor's assessment of finished project

By registering for this class, participants agree to:

  • Complete the project within 2 weeks of the end of the class.
  • Allow the instructors to review their finished project, assessing each participant's skill before their registration of an advanced class will be accepted.



**Due to demand participants may only sign up for a single introductory project, a single intermediate project, and a single advanced project.
