English learners of all skills are welcome to attend this class to learn introductory language skills and build confidence and connections. We will focus on grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening as well as different topics about life in Canada. Our volunteers will support you in gaining skills in language learning tailored to your skill level and experience.

Learners of all levels are welcome to attend, even without CLB assessments at this time. Registrations can be processed online (www.epl.ca) or in-person at any Edmonton Public Library location.

First class: Wednesday, February 18 (6:00pm-8:00pm)

Number of participants is limited to 15.

This class is presented in partnership with PALS (Project Adult Literacy Society). PALS is a charitable organization based in Edmonton that offers free tutoring to adult learners who want to improve their basic literacy – reading, writing, comprehension, math, English language, and digital skills.
