Attention authors! Bookbinding is back at EPL! Bring your manuscript to life with our specialized bookbinding classes designed just for you. These classes cover everything you need to know to turn your written work into a professionally bound book using the library’s advanced equipment. 

THIS CLASS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A BOOK READY TO PRINT. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DIGITAL COPY OF YOUR BOOK YOU CANNOT ATTEND THIS CLASS.  

What You’ll Learn:

  • Cover Design Basics: Explore the elements of effective cover design, including typography, imagery, and layout.
  • Using Design Software: Get hands-on experience with design tools to create a professional-quality cover.
  • Cover Printing: Learn how to prepare your cover file for printing.

NOTE: THERE IS A COST TO PRINT AND BIND YOUR BOOK

MAXIMUM FIVE (5) BOOKS PER PERSON CAN BE PRINTED/BOUND AT ONE BINDING CLASS

This class is ideal for authors who have completed their manuscripts and wish to produce high-quality, bound copies of their work. Whether you’re preparing a manuscript for submission, or creating a personal copy, this course will equip you with the skills needed to achieve a professional finish.

Spaces are limited to ensure personalized attention, so be sure to register early. 

If you are just interested in bookbinding at EPL, but do not have a book to bind, you can attend the Personalized Notebook class. There is a $7.50 cost for the notebook class.
