Didn't like this book very much. The plot was unimaginative and the writing was choppy, jumping from one scene to another without good transitions. Last book by Tracy that I read

I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it very much. The reader was great and it was a good mystery. I plan to read more of this author's books.

"A missing teenage girl lies dead in a parking lot. Two young immigrants are killed in their apartment. Three men are found dead in the street nearby. As the police struggle to establish what's happened, they realise that the deaths may not be as random as they first appear." I thought it was a weak offering. Low on inspiration: do something with "the terrorists" as badguys. Then you don't need to come up with a decent motive or anything. Why, it practically writes itself!

"Monkeewrench Software partner Grace MacBride thwarts an assassination attempt on retired FBI agent John Smith in the Florida Keys; Native American girls are going missing from their reservations; Somali men have been found killed, execution style, in Minneapolis. Taking centre stage, homicide detectives Leo Magozzi and Gino Rolseth team up to link all these crimes together to uncover a far-reaching and dastardly plot. The Monkeewrench books are a great, well-plotted series with wonderful characters, and while you can read this 6th installment on its own, to get the full history of Grace and her delightfully eccentric colleagues, you should really start with series-opener Monkeewrench." Not happy with this book. Seemed very thrown together and rushed. Hope the next book is better.

Not as good as the first two but better than the last. This outing has all the old favourites plus a few new characters & spooky bad guys. I hope we hear more from Chief & Claude in future books where hopefully the authors will stop dragging out the storyline of Magozzi & Grace. Fish or cut bait, already.
