A series of warehouse fires has police scrambling for an arsonist, especially when valuable pieces from the Fireman's Museum go up in flames and a guard is killed in the blaze. Then a picture in the paper catches the attention of Pennsylvania Antiquarian Society president Nell Pratt. Though charred and twisted, the 1825 horse-drawn hand-pump fire engine clearly does not match her records of the original. Did some one pull a fast one?

I like museums and am enjoying the behind-the-scenes stories that are in this series. Nell is a likable protagonist. I look forward to more of her stories.
