Destination Tokyo --- DVD --- starring Cary Grant. It’s WW II and we’/re on a submarine that’s to land three submariners in Tokyo Bay in advance of a US bombing mission. And as if getting into a heavily guarded Tokyo Bay weren’t enough, there’s an emergency appendectomy too. Not too fast or thrilling by present day standards but it sure gives an insight into the world of the 1940s when everyday life was innocent and the enemy was clearly delineated. In black and white.
