I liked this old fashioned family story DVD. It was well acted. The story is strong. The story is clean enough for young kids. It represents strong family values. This married couple have a small house with three kids of their own. They are so compassionate, they keep adopting more kids from the orphanage even though they can't afford it and the house is full already. I feel sorry for the father who is always broke. He feels ignored by his wife. They are too busy to be father and mother to be a husband and wife. The father is mostly about child care and earning the pay cheque so the wife can be a full time mother. It has some funny moments. They accomplish wonderful results with these bitter angry orphan children.

Really, really ahead of its time in a good way (with the exception of a spanking scene). It sees foster children and parents in an empathetic way. Sweet and uplifting film.

What a sweet, funny, and wonderful movie. It sucked me right in. Great writing and wonderful cast, including the children. A must watch.

This is an inspiring film with Cary Grant. This film helps see the difficulties of fostering; however, with love and faith, this family must face the unknown.
