The People's Republic of Haven was mistaken in announcing the execution of Honor Harrington, for she has escaped from a prison planet and returned with more than half a million freed prisoners. Her return provides a much-needed lift for the Allies' morale, for the war is rapidly entering a decisive phase, and Honor finds herself at the heart of it all.

Huge political repercussion on Honor risen from the dead.
Haven forced reduce power on State Security & admit prison planet existence.
I liked her horror of her queen to promote her to Duchess after understanding her Grayson Standing position, gibbering on her parents having twin newborns or losing argument with Grayson establishment to take down larger than life statue of herself.
Loved the technothriller ending of massive changes & the Queen forced to roll with the punches.

Another triumphant installment in the Honor Harrington saga! Weber does an excellent job of fleshing minor characters from previous books in to personalities the reader cares about. Also, his strategy of switching viewpoints before and during a battle increases the excitement and suspense.
