A cult film, for sure. An interesting idea meets a mediocre script and B-level acting. I didn't see the ending coming. Has the feel of a stage-play being filmed.

A "B" movie that really had potential, but sadly missed the mark. Good twist ending. And the actual Sushi Girl herself was absolutely sumptuous.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww! I don't know how good this film is cause I didn't get pass the first half-hour. Let's say that we've all been on this tale before and it's been done better.

Seems like this film was made with the intention of becoming a cult classic. Despite Tony Todd's whispering deliveries, Andy Mackenzie sounding like Batman in the Dark Night and Mark Hamil's over-the-top performance as a speed gum chewing, effeminate sociopath, I found the movie entertaining. Sort of a gruesome variation on Reservior Dogs, but with more visual violence and less quotable lines.

Mindless, pretentious torture porn. The titular character has maybe three lines during the predictable conclusion. (Imagine if "Saw" had been entitled "Supposedly Dead Guy on the Floor.") This seems to be a minor cult classic at the moment, almost certainly due to Luke Skywalker, but it'll be forgotten in a year if there's any justice.

An unusual opening and engaging conclusion though with a lengthy forgettable sequence of torture scenes in the middle, somewhat along the same lines as "44 Inch Chest" with more action but less clever dialogue, or "Reservoir Dogs" with less action.

Stylish crime drama/very dark comedy that kept my interest. Slowly unfolds into a revenge tale. Some iconic mugs (Mark Hamill, Tony Todd and a Danny Trejo cameo) and a human sushi spread (the sushi girl of the movie's namesake is very hot and completely naked) were highlights. Graphic in its violence, language and nudity. Not a great movie, but certainly above average if not just for the sushi girl and an effeminent, demented Luke Skywalker.

Pretentious and stupid dialogue. The ending doesn't make much sense. A pale imitation of Reservoir Dogs which wasn't that great in the first place
