The author, Calvin Hill believes staying fit as we age is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our families and one of the greatest gifts we can give to ourselves. While people age 60 and over make up just 20% of the population, they are responsible for almost 80% of the health care cost. This book shows seniors how to stay fit without going to a gym, buying expensive exercise equipment, or having a personal trainer. The Exercise for life program can be done in the comfort of your own home. I began this exercise program at age 60. I wrote this book at age 76; some might wonder why I would wait so long to write this book. After having done the Exercise for Life program myself almost six thousands times in almost 17 years, I had to prove to myself, this was the best and most effective exercise program for seniors to have a fit body along with having a fit mind. This program avocates physical fitness and mental fitness.
