Rated 1/10. Extremely poor, depressing movie and swear-fest to boot. Not for me. Turned it off after 20 minutes.

Subtitles are a good size, white with no background.
I enjoyed the movie despite the fact it was rather slow & I figured out who was behind the letters. Suprisingly little dialogue & lots of the f word which gets annoying & meaningless after the first 5 times of hearing it.

F*** is constantly used! I find this disgusting! Is it impossible for the writers to write dialogue without the use of F*** in every sentence??? The word might have an impact if used on occasion but as a constant word in every line spoken, it is simply crude! The story itself was interesting and sad. I would rate this movie as 2/10

Poorly written dialogue and bad camera angles. Plot did not come together well. Good actors in a real stinker.

Not bad of a complex police cover up story by a renegade clan of detectives.

Not one of Al Pacino's best in all of his acting career but this slow going acting film may be worth the watch right to the end!

This is a pretty bad watch

one of those 'we tricked you into watching the whole thing' by not ensuring it's a waste of time until the end.

Lame and slow moving to an unsatisfying ending. Sadly, thwere are way worse police dramas out there. I would suggest Brooklyns Finest for a far better recent gritty cop movie. This is pretty much a stinker, but kept me watching to find out what was going to happen and what HAD happened (it's one of those flashback to when they were kids flicks, which I tend to like). I could have skipped this one.

Detective Stanford:
when your father died...I had an obligation. You understand? It wasn't like we worked in a department store together...or a bakery shop or something. We were partners. And when you're partners, you're you are with your grandmother.

I got two dead bodies on my hands, Jonathan. Now, that's a lot. I got barking dogs, people looking through peepholes... drug talk about Hanky. And it's all leading this.
