Sage has been often referred to as “Princess Post-It” by her classmates because of her tendency to leave encouraging notes to those who were having a hard time. Although to others she looks perfectly normal and overly positive, deep down, her past and scars still haunt her and it takes more effort than necessary to keep up her facade. But when she meets Shane, everything around her changes. He was beautifully broken, just like her, and has cared for her more than she would have ever imagined. But when her secrets start slipping out, the only way to salvage her relationships are to face her past. This was very sweet, intriguing, and well-written. The characters were interesting, unique and likable while they developed throughout the novel. The main pair’s secrets kept me engaged and their winning personalities kept me rooting for them.
