There are two DVD's surrounding Lord Lucan with two separate male stars. I didn't like either man. The self-righteousness of the British peer who thinks the world belongs to him and that no one has the right to question him, even when the case is murder, is revolting. Perhaps this is the British character that has caused the whole world to find the Britsh elite to be insufferable snobs. The Right Honourable The Earl of Lucan was a real person who was a professional gambler and was to be put on trial for murdering the family's nanny and the attempted murder of his wife. He was a British 'peer' and that seems to be an institution that we in American don't understand very well because we all know only one man walked on water and he wasn't British. Richard John Bingham was once considered for the role of James Bond in the early cinematic days of Ian Fleming's spy character. The Earl of Lucan never went to trial, but was disappeared and his whereabouts or body has not been discovered to this date. He left a rather lousy legacy for his children to live under.

Based on fact. Very good portrayal ...considering it is c.1974 murder. Worth a look just to see the arrogance of the upper-class/aristocracy - and class division. France had a solution to that... ;-)

This was so boring we took it out after 30 mins. It's two parts so four hours total. I can't imagine watching this drivel for four hours. Very slooooooooow.

Absolutely loved it. Great insight into the class system in England. How it permeates a warped way of thinking.
