Quite touching story. For those who do not like reading subtitles, this movie has a fairly low number of them. Much of the time we are presented with the story in a visual way.

This movie is full of lessons. Sister Marguerite's heart was full of love. I didn't know about this until I watched the film. Be ready for a lot of emotions.

I LOVED this movie. An uplifting story and wonderful actresses. Nice set up too, in the French countryside.

my generation was introduced to blind/deaf education by Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke in The Miracle Worker. Here we have a miracle from a century earlier than Helen Keller's.

Marie is well played by Ariana Rivoire, a young deaf actress. beautiful cinematography. interesting 'making of'

Sweet story about a sister who helps a blind and deaf girl learn to communicate with other people. It took love and strength to break through the barriers.
