This is one of the earlier films by German director Wim Wenders, about a German man who runs a small arts shop and becomes a contract killer, thinking he is dying of an incurable blood disease. He is connected with his American counterpart played by Dennis Hopper. The story is told in a narrative form without fanfare. A decent crime story. In German and English with subtitles.
