The setting is the real star of this story. Cannes on the French Riviera, with its old quarter, Le Suquet.

I found many of the supporting characters to be more intriguing than the main characters.

The story, with its WWII Nazi connections, is believable- at a bit of a stretch. Interesting, but not compelling.

But visualizing the beautiful Mediterranean landscape made this a plus overall.
