If you are a beginner in this subject then you better get it, otherwise no there is no much informations. I recommend you "The longevity Diet" by Dr Valter Longo, "The china study" by T. Colin Campbell and Thomas M. Campbell, "How not to Die" by Gene Stone and Michael Greger.

I used to struggle a lot with low blood sugar and there's a few books which really helped me get a handle on the problem, including this one.
There were a lot of changes I noticed, asides from the evening out of my blood sugar, such as clearing up my oily skin, losing "the belly", clearing my brain fog, helping me sleep better, helping my gut problems, reducing migraines, reducing my cholesterol, improving my immunity...
The things related to diet are extensive and you stop even noticing what's wrong because you live with it for so long and it becomes "normal".
If you have vague "lifestyle" related health issues, this book can help.

For those who have read diet/nutrition books, i.e: Ludwig's Always hungry or Gary Taubes books, I find Perlmutter's protein recommendations below minimal!
Women (regardless of height/age/etc) are allowed 46 grams a day!!!
Men are allowed 56 grams.

Lots of recipes...the rest of the book is as bland as the TV shows with something 'important' and 'most important' very regularly (not everything can be important!).
