Some mockumentories work--This Is Spinal Tap is still good. Some don't--Blair Witch Project was just bad. This falls about half-way between with it premise that the CIA and FBI hire idiots because they are idiots and the moon landing was a hoax (as if we aren't tired of that story). This movie takes itself so ultra-seriously that at times it is just painful to watch.

This nonsense about "We never landed on the moon and it's all a conspiracy" has been done to death and I for one am sick of it. Many brave Americans put their lives on the line (and some lost their lives) to put our flag on the moon. Crud like this does grave disservice to their memory and their sacrifice. This move does not deserve a place on the library shelf IMHO.
