Just fabulous, each episode. But don't ignore the 5 or 10 minute shorts following these on just how the camera work was done, and the risks/tribulations that the camera crews exposed themselves to.

I like the first one better.

Due to the latest in camera equipment and infrared lens the BBC crew have captured so many never before seen animal behaviours in the wild as well as in cities. There are scenes that may be frightening for children so I would say if your child is sensitive you need to make a judgement call on whether they are able to see this. It would probably best for the adult/s to watch it first and then they can better gauge how their child/ren will handle watching it. There are scenes of animals killing each other and one scene of iguanas running for their life from so many snakes that it gave me the willies!
The BBC crew have made their finest movie to date showing the beauty of our planet as well as it's strange, quirky, funny, incredible, and diverse creatures! The music score is also very beautiful and compliments each scene. Breathtaking! A+

This is better than the first Planet Earth. I especially liked the last chapter on Cities.

Much like the first Planet Earth series, this is absolutely remarkable viewing. It's the kind of thing that super fancy hi-def TV's were built for, but still comes across great on even my below average set-up. The episode focusing on how animals thrive in cities/urban environments was particularly fascinating. And the other five episodes are just as good. A+ stuff here.
