Sea of thieves is an interesting game, when I first played it felt as if I was playing Minecraft but with pirates. The fact that I get to explore around is not amusing, but I really did not like how the world was set up. I started to get bored when I was playing the game, I just wanted to stop playing because of the endless sailing. I know there’s things to do when playing, I have heard it’s a fun game, but I quickly got bored because of the pointless wandering. Maybe there’s some things to be enjoyed, but in my opinion, I don’t think it’s all that good. Rating 1 out 5 stars

Sea of Thieves was the first Xbox game I got as it came with the Xbox. The game allows you to explore the virtual world as a pirate going on adventures and quests. You are also able to engage in online PVP battles against real players. Use cannons to fight other pirate ships or go in close with the sword. For a starter game, it has good graphics and contains a lot of content for new players. You can play multiplayer with your friends and go exploring around the map collecting treasures. It's a great game to introduce new players to Xbox but will get boring quickly if you have played other games. 3/5

Sea of Thieves is a game made for those who enjoy open world, adventure, and player versus player games . If you do not enjoy that style of game, then I would not recommend this to you. In Sea of Thieves the goal of the game is for you to explore a vast open sea alone or with friends. In Sea of Thieves, you collect loot and fight other online players. Fights can take place on the water, between cannon fire, or on other players ships with swords or pistols. There are many islands around the map you can explore and contain loot chests that you can collect. Rare, the developer of the game created some good visuals and graphics for the game. Sea Theives is a good game to play.

Sea of Thieves is an open-world, pirate game, where you explore the treacherous seas with your swashbuckling crew, all the while unearth treasure chest plentiful with booty. However, with a concept and theme as enticing as this, the game had a lot of hype and build-up to live up-to, which it unfortunately doesn't. The visuals of the game are absolutely stunning, with how the different weather effects appear really captivate the player, unfortunately visuals aren't everything for a game to be fun. The gameplay starts off fun when playing with friends and fits the pirate theme for a few hours, but this excitement quickly fades, revealing the flaws of the game. The gameplay is mind-numbingly repetitive. The game revolves quests from the various pirate coves. However, the quest all feel the same. Combined with, no character progression or end goal, makes the whole game feel pointless. Sea of Thieves is a gorgeous looking game, one the best I've seen in year which is why it hurts so much that its core gameplay is so drab and uninspiring. This game had tons of potential to be one of the biggest hits in 2018, but instead, it has just drifted into obscurity. Rating: 2 out of 5

This game is not worth borrowing, it's a waste of time, you will not enjoy it in a week, maybe if you had months to grind away you could find SOME enjoyment in it but generally this game is lacking any sort of content.

Best way to describe Sea of Thieves is, "Wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle". This game just feels very empty with very little to do in it. Also it is not fun to play alone being as most people who play this game just choose to grief solo players and steal everything they try to collect, making hours of work into a complete waste of a solo players time.
