Told from three viewpoints, teens Doris, Nell, and Grant find friendship and the possibility of love while working in Unclaimed Baggage, a store that sells items that went missing during airline travel.
Doris has mostly kept to herself since the terrible waterslide incident a few years ago. Nell had to leave behind her best friends, perfect life, and too-good-to-be-true boyfriend in Chicago to move to Alabama. Grant was the star quarterback whose drinking problem has all but destroyed his life. What do these three have in common? A summer job working in a store called Unclaimed Baggage, cataloging and selling other people's lost luggage. Will they unpack some of their own emotional baggage, and move on into the future? -- adapted from amazon.com

I really enjoyed this book set in a store that resellls (sells?) unclaimed baggage. Doris and Grant are the locals with Nell being the new girl from Chicago, and everyone has some more and less obvious struggles,m or dare I say BAGGAGE? to work through. I liked the different points of view, and setting it in Alabama added some extra struggle. Definitely worth reading.

Set in a store, Unclaimed Baggage, that sells items from airline baggage that was never picked up, the story is told by three teens that work in the store, . Each has recently lost something very important to them. Doris has lost her Aunt in a weird water accident, Nell has lost her friends and boyfriend when she had to move with her family to Alabama, and Grant has lost his star football player status to alcohol. Can each find what they need at Unclaimed Baggage?
