Fantastic adaptation of the book. Emma Watson's accent wasn't great but her acting was. Loved the music too.

I'd never seen this before and maybe I should have read the book beforehand, but a lot of the story was lost on me. I did like Paul Rudd in the role of the English teacher and it was nice to see some familiar faces.

Being an 80s kid, this movie and the soundtrack brought back a lot of memories and feelings from the high school days. Everything from new friends, first love, first breakups, that one teacher that really helped propel you towards your future, getting stoned for the first time....it's all here. Did I mention the soundtrack?

Amazing beyond words. And this this one dude's take on school shootings. He's in the live-action Justice League movie. As The Flash, man. Necessary humor.

A great adaptation of Chbosky's novel, with a perfect soundtrack.

The 2012 movie, "Perks of Being a Wallflower" is thought of as one of the more memorable and best examples of a well executed coming of age movie. With the amount of hype around this film, I had my own high expectations and definitely was not disappointed. It had a very well known cast, with actors such as Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ezra Miller, Paul Rudd and many others alongside each other in main roles. The movie is very realistic to the realities of abuse in its subtlety that it's so moving. I also thought the way the letters were presented to the film fulfilled a purpose and was well executed. I would highly recommend watching this movie at least once in your lifetime. 4 Stars @Ruby_Tuesday of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This movie was a great drama movie which also involved a little teen romance. Although everyone is used to seeing Emma Watson as “Hermione” in the Harry Potter movies, she is a little different in this movie, and by that, I mean, she is a very caring and lovable person. This movie portrayed many problems that teenagers have to face such as finding friends and love in high school. I personally really liked the movie and I also had a “surprising moment” for me at the end. All of the characters did a tremendous job portraying their part of the role and even though, they were pretty young, they made it seem like they were pretty experienced. I rate this movie 4.5 out of 5. @BirdieBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Loved the actors and it was true to the book, but for some reason bringing the characters to real life made them feel very fake.

A charming coming-of-age film, and a fine job by the actors. I enjoyed it equally as well as the book.

For a movie that I was for some reason expecting to be a bit edgy and hip, it was pretty cliche and conventional. Still an okay movie

When Charlie is befriended by two seniors he begins to understand that 'belonging' isn't just about fitting in.
