Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Audience Award, selected by Denmark as the country’s official entry into the Oscar Foreign Language Film race. A nerve-shredder, for sure.

I love European cinema and discovering hidden gems..what sounds like a one man play quickly be omes an engrossing story with a few surprises and an excellent performance by the lead actor...very entertaining and a bit different from what you may be used to..but THATS what the Danish swedish netherland film world offers you..highly recommended

This performance by Jakob Cedergren as Asger was outstanding.

The movie is about the conversation of a police officer answering the phone in the Emergency Service Center. You have to use your imagination to think what was happening on the other side of the phone. An entertaining movie. Well worth watching.

Tense with surprising turns in an emergency call center. The movie also gives a good insight into the conflict of personal emotions, instincts and policies.

A tour de force. The 'action' takes place entirely in our imagination as we follow the phone dialogue of a troubled street cop who has been placed on temporary duty as an emergency services dispatcher pending a disciplinary hearing. The powerful performance by Jakob Cedergren is matched by a script that is strong on ellipsis, leaving it to the audience to fill in the parallel plot lines. Riveting.

Lots of suspense in this fabulous thriller. Amazing considering the entire film consists primarily of phone conversations in a police dispatch center. Top it off with the fact that it's in Danish with English subtitles. Critics on Rotten Tomatoes rate this at 99% and I totally understand why. Jakob Cedergren's performance is extraordinary.
