Excellent picturebook. Talks about sadness and grief in such a real and raw way.

Not for kids and not uplifting at all... but it is an excellent book. Blake's illustrations are top notch and the prose just cuts to the bone.

Incredibly moving. Not an easy book, but a helpful book. Palpable grief.

I concur with the previous comment in that I don't think this is a children's book and am surprised it is in that category. Definitely an adult read and well done , but would not recommend for the younger ones .

A valuable addition to any general grief/depression list .
In my view not a children's book--but adult's and possibly some young adults.
It is a grapic memoir of a Father who had an 18yr old son,Eddie, die from meningitis.
