From Library Staff

Only five words are used in this entire book; it's the clever–and beautiful–visual narrative that make it such a pleasure for all ages.

What do an orange, a pear, an apple and a bear have in common? Find out in this rhyming book about shapes, colours and sequences.

This book is made up of mostly four words: orange, pear, apple, and bear. Watch how Emily Gravett uses these words in lots of interesting combinations! The repetition will help your child to become familiar with these new words.

I like to start off my storytimes with a really simple, short book, and this is my number-one go-to choice.

Thinking this would be a great book, it only has four words in it.. orange pear apple bear... bore...
The pictures are cute and well illustrated. Book is defiantly more suitable for beginning readers. Not a good story time book.
