Abolitionist, John Brown is often referred to as the "Father of American Terrorism" - But (in reality) - Was he a righteous martyr? - or - Was he a crazed fanatic?

When it came to his burning desire to put a final end to slavery in America - John Brown believed, without question, that actions always spoke louder than words (especially when, in his certainty, his actions of bloody murder were being guided by his "god").

John Brown was born in 1800 in Torrington, Connecticut.

This 90-minute documentary from the PBS Network takes a close and very serious look (through numerous stills and informed interviews) at the life, the times, and the questionable modus operandi of John Brown and his "holy war" on slavery.
