This is a 94-minute documentary about the personal history of Tobias Schneebaum, who says, "I am a cannibal... No matter into what far corner of
my mind I push those words, they flash along the surface of my brain like news along the track that runs around the building at Times Square."
In 1955, the New York artist disappeared into the depths of the Peruvian Amazon.
He had no guide, no map, and only the vaguest of instructions: Keep the river on your right.
A year later Tobias emerged from the jungle naked, covered in body paint, and a modern-day cannibal.
It is an amazing, mind-boggling yet thought-provoking documentary.
